Uchenna Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu, is the founder of Edufun Technik STEM Center, a Social Enterprise that focuses on the implementation of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education for children and youth.
Focusing on developing their potentials, skills and talents by providing students with quality hands-on-training on Coding, Design thinking, Engineering and Robotics, and guiding them to make informed STEM career-decisions that will set them moving into a big future of STEM.
She is an Entrepreneur, STEM Advocate, and STEM Facilitator/Teacher. A Mandela Washington Fellow (MWF), with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, studied Business and Entrepreneurship at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University Illinois.
She is a consultant on matters relating to STEM and Robotics education.
Uchenna has covered over 500 classes of STEM curriculum from 2014 till now and have trained over 2200 pupils and 3100 Students in workshops, after-school and in class activities.
She is passionate about bringing technology to the classroom, door step of children in rural communities and socio-economic development of Africa, and believes that STEM education is the only way to achieve that.
Uchenna is the Brain behind the five (5) girls from Regina Pacis Secondary School Onitsha (Anambra State) that won the Global Technovation Prize in Silicon Valley.
Uchenna is a 2018 Obama leaders Africa as well as have also founded and co-founded so many startups.
